XLI Club 2026 May Lunch

The lunch is on Thursday the 21st of May at The Police Association building on the 5th floor, 70 Jolimont Street, East Melbourne at 12 Noon. We would like to see as many members as possible attend the lunch in support of the Club.

Access from Jolimont Railway Station to venue – distance 500 metres (5-minute walk).

Tram to Wellington Parade/ Clarendon Street outside Pullman on the Park Hotel – (5-minute walk).

Richmond Railway Station (15-minute walk).

Limited parking in the area – 2 hours only.

The cost of this lunch will be $100.

Our Guest Speaker will be Dr Judy Balcombe on her involvement with;

The Muntok Peace Museum that remembers the many hundreds of civilian internee men women and children, Australian, New Zealand, British, American, Dutch, Chinese and Eurasian, who suffered and died in the harsh camps of Muntok and Palembang, Belalau, Padang and Bangkinang in Sumatra. British Army Nurses who were imprisoned and died and 8 further Australian Army Nurses died in a prison camp.
